If you use many Google operators to find content such as Ebook, Music, and Lyrics then you might like Google Hacks. This tool will construct Google query using operators such as inurl: intitle:, and link: according to your need. After entering your query, the Google Hacks will open a browser window with your search result. In theory, this could a web application instead of a desktop application.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is very slow in every platform that I have tested, so alternative PDF readers are prefered. In Windows, you can use FoxIt Reader, or Sumatra. In Linux, you can use xpdf. In Symbian you can use Pdf+ (not free). In other operating systems where you can't find a fast PDF reader, I suggest you convert your PDF document to another format.
